Girls,

I’m proud of you after tonight’s game. I was proud of you during the game. I want you to know that. Each and every one of you played hard tonight, and that is all we can do.

We came up short. Were they better than we were? Tonight, yes, they were. That does not mean we need to hang our heads, though. We can all learn something from tonight, myself included. I already have things to share with you the next time we come together.

Until that day, keep working hard in all aspects of your life. Things are starting to click for this team, and no one will want to play us once we are firing on all cylinders.
